For operators that use several types of aerial lifts, Mobile Elevating Work Platforms, this class will provide general lift safety and access to all the lift specific classes available on MEWPMobile.com. Once you have completed the ALL MEWP operator training class you can print a digital license or order a hard plastic operator license for $20.00. This license shows an equipment authorization designation of ALL MEWP Equipment. This class includes a coupon for Free Occupant Training so passengers can receive the required familiarization training.
Since the requirement of aerial lift operator training, it has always been acceptable for a trained operator to include a passenger in the lift to perform a task that the operator did not or could not do. But with the new changes in the ANSI Guidelines, these same passengers (occupants) must now have safety training and equipment familiarization in case of an emergency. This class provides training and documentation that can be used to show an occupant has been trained not only in general but on the lift they will be riding in. Included with the Operator Plan.
